Privacy notice
Who we are. Scotland Trade Quotes is run by Stephen Cameron (the data controller). Contact: c243house@outlook.com.
What we collect. The details you put in the quote form: your name, phone, email (optional), postcode, town, the trade and job description, and timing and budget range (optional).
Why. Only to pass your request to a local tradesperson so they can contact you about that job. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box on the form.
Who we share it with. One tradesperson who covers your area and that trade. If they can't take the job, we'll ask you before sharing it with anyone else. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.
How it's sent. The form opens your own email app. Your request reaches us by email and is stored in our mailbox.
How long we keep it. Up to 12 months, then we delete it. Ask sooner and we'll delete it sooner.
Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing c243house@outlook.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
